20 Years of Stuff — Cleared in a Single Morning in Stockport
When a customer in Stockport got in touch, she was apologetic before we'd even arrived. "It's been building up since we moved in," she told us. "I don't even know what's in there anymore." We've heard that one before. A lot.
What we found was a fairly typical garage for a home that's been lived in for two decades. Old bikes the kids had long outgrown, three broken lawnmowers (why do people always have multiple broken lawnmowers?), boxes of magazines, paint cans from renovations in 2009, and a wardrobe that had been used as a storage unit since it stopped fitting through the bedroom door.
We were in and out in under three hours. Everything recyclable went to the right place. The rest went to a licensed disposal site. She sent us a message the next day to say she'd stood in the empty garage and cried — in a good way. That's the job.
